Whether you’re clearing out your own wardrobe, tackling your partner’s, sorting through the family’s cupboards or simply having a long-overdue declutter, selling everything yourself can be surprisingly time-consuming.
From Preloved to Reloved sells good-quality women’s and men’s clothing, shoes and accessories on your behalf — taking care of the whole process from preparing and photographing your items to listing, selling, packing and posting.
1. Have a clear-out
Gather together the women’s and men’s clothing, shoes and accessories that are no longer being worn and could be enjoyed by someone else.
I’m looking for good-quality pieces in clean, saleable condition that still have plenty of life left in them. As a general guide, items should be likely to achieve a resale value of more than £8 and if clothing and accessories be appropriate to the season.
Don’t worry if you have no idea what’s worth selling — that’s my job. I’m happy to take a look and identify the pieces that are likely to be suitable.
2. Hand over your items
Once we’ve agreed which items are suitable for the service, I’ll take them from there.
Your items are logged and you’ll receive a straightforward Seller’s Agreement, so everything is clear from the outset.
If there’s a particular item that you wouldn’t want sold below a certain price, you can also let me know before it’s listed.
3. I do all the work
This is where you get your time back.
I’ll prepare your items for sale, research current resale values, photograph them, write detailed listings and manage the selling process.
I’ll deal with buyer questions, offers and enquiries and, when an item sells, I’ll package and post it too.
No photography. No writing listings. No answering messages. No packing. No trips to the Post Office.
It’s all taken care of.
4. We share the proceeds
Once the agreed preparation and packaging costs have been deducted, the remaining proceeds are split 50/50.
I’ll keep a record of your sales and, once each transaction is complete and the selling platform has released the funds, your share will be paid to you.
Simple, transparent and without you having to manage the selling process yourself.
5. Your preloved pieces find new homes
This is what From Preloved to Reloved is really about.
Perfectly good clothing, shoes and accessories shouldn’t be forgotten at the back of a wardrobe — and they certainly shouldn’t become unnecessary waste.
By passing them on, you’re extending the life of things you no longer use, allowing someone else to enjoy them and embracing a more circular way of shopping.
At the same time, you get to reclaim some space and some of the value sitting in your wardrobe.
Less waste. More reuse. More reloving.
